Pinoisian Steel

A rare metal found almost exclusively on the island of Dekah is said to be guarded by the moss trolls that dwell in the deep forested areas. The D'vati of Pinoisian favor this metal for weapons and shields as it provides torch light in addition to being lighter than normal weapons.

Manufacturing & Products

Pinoisian Steel is often used in to form the metal parts of a lantern due to its natural luminescence. This also extends to signage of places that work long ours, or are open into the night.
Pinoisian Steel weapons are favored due to their ability to overcome the defenses of the Malevolent and the Impure. The weapon is considered made of silver and being good aligned, it ignore DR overcome by either or both of those traits, suppresses regeneration overcome by either or both of those traits, and deals 50% more damage to creatures weak to either or both of those traits
Pinoisian Steel Shields shields are made of the material for much of the same reason as weapons are, with the added benefit of significantly reducing the burden of a warrior due to the weight reduction.
Pinoisian Steel Armors are favored for their light weight but often a dulling oil is used when such radiant armor would be a disadvantage.
