Pactanale

A strange draconic race of rapid evolution. Their culture is one of combat and hunting, ever seeking stronger prey. Very few settle down, but most who do, do so under the wing of a Pat/Matriarch. Such Pat/Matriarchs most often have reached the status of apex predator in the region. Most commonly a pactanale would join such a village to have children.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Generally bipedal, scaled humanoids, their constant evolution makes it difficult to pin down specific traits.

Biological Traits

  • Attributes: +2 Con
  • Humanoid(Pactonale, Dragonblood): Pactonale are one of the rare humanoids from Savagelands.
  • Medium: As a medium creature Pactonale gains no bonuses due to size
  • Pactonale base land speed is 30ft
  • Natural Armor +2
  • Low-Light
  • Language: Pactonale, Pactonale Sign, and Trade(common).
  • Fast Healing: Equal to 1/2 con mod, up to character level.
  • Regenerate Limb: As a full round action regrown a lost limb, but you are exhausted for 1 min after. This exhaustion cannot be overcome by any means including immunity. 1/day
  • Claws: You have two claw natural attacks that deal 1d6 damage.
  • Vita (Ex): The first time in an encounter you are dropped to or below 0 HP you gain a point of Vita. Every odd point of Vita grants +1 to hit, up to 1/2 level, and every even point grants +1 to damage when applying strength modifier to damage, up to level. If starting past level 1 gain 1d13 vita per level at character creation.
  • Focus Vita (Ex): You may spend 10 vita and 8 hours of training to increase one ability score by 1. This can be completed multiple times.
  • Survival Instinct (Ex): You may spend 20 vita and 1-week training. You gain one feature from the following list: Evasion, Uncanny Dodge, Fast Healing is equal to con mod, Add con mod to Natural Armor, Regrow limbs con mod times per day and are fatigued not exhausted. This can be completed once for each option.
  • Savage Awakening (Ex): You may spend 50 vita and 1-month training to increase all class and racial HD to d12s type becomes dragon, fast healing becomes regeneration (Cold Iron), Improved Uncanny Dodge, Evasion, and every 6th point of vita grants a +1 enhancement bonus to all ability scores. Requires all options of survival instinct to be chosen.
  • Ultimate Instinct (Ex): You may spend 100 vita and 1-month training to unlock their final potential. Every odd vita grants +1 to hit, each vita grants +1 to damage when applying strength modifier to damage, every 3rd vita grants +1 regeneration, every 4th vita grants +1 natural armor, ever 6th vita grants +1 enhancement bonus to armor. Additionally, if you die with 10 vita or more you are subject to true resurrection after 24 hours, losing 10 vita. Requires Savage Awakening and 20 in all attributes.

Feats

Consume Essence

You learn to consume the primordial essence from your slain foes.   Prerequisite: Vita, Pactonale Benefit: By consuming the flesh of a creature with CR equal to or greater than your character level, you gain 1 vita.  

Savagelands Evolution

Through meditation, you call out the dregs of the savagelands in your veins.   Prerequisite: Vita, Pactonale Benefit: You may spend 20 vita and 1-week training. You gain one Evolutionist Mutation you meet the requirements for. Special: You count as an evolutionist of your character level for the purposes of this feat.  

Essence Catalog

You learn to consume the primordial essence from your slain foes.   Prerequisite: Vita, Pactonale, Know the Capture Monster spell or have it as a spell-like ability Benefit: The Capture Monster spell gains a new function, Catalog. It may be cast on any creature, but if it does not meet the monster requirement they may only catalog it. A cataloged creature is not available for later summoning and instead is turned into Vita. If the pactanale catalogs a creature of its level or higher it gains 1 vita. The pactanale may still not capture non-monsters for monster trainer abilities.
