The denizens of Midgard, humanity were the first to look beyond their Realm for a sense of community. Their collective desperation and wonder appear to be the initiating event of convergence between otherwise separate dimensional Realms. While all Realms converged upon the humans at their behest over thousands of years, after The Mystic Truce took hold in the mid 1860's, humanity was left with a forced neutrality.
No longer would Realms fight upon the soil of the Middling Plane for dominance over the humans.
If any from the Realms were to inhabit the earthly plane, they would be properly petitioned and pulled in, or the Folk would live within the guiding rules of Midgard.
Magic being vastly anathema to the majority of the human populace.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Bipedal mammals, with two arms, two legs and a bunch of squishy bits shielded by skeletal matter, soft tissue and skin in the middle.
Genetics and Reproduction
Sexual reproduction via 9 month gestation period, where the female give live birth to their young. Usually in batches of one, on the rare occasion twins or multiple babies per pregnancy are recorded.
Growth Rate & Stages
Physical and mental maturity is up for debate, but most humans mature by their mid-twenties in a physical and cognitive capacity.
Ecology and Habitats
Wherever the humans go, they create domiciles or societal structures which help regulate their temperate desires for moderate heat or cold, and access to supplies, transportation & knowledge.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Daily watering, and feeding with food. Humans also drape a variety of cloth over their epidermis, set footwear upon their feet, and do some form of personal grooming.
