Planet Cappu (Jovia II)
This is the second planet in orbit around the sun. It is a large gas giant, home to a few simple extreme r-strategists. Life has been here for longer than it's life-bearing moon Iris, and although mutation rates are high, life remains uncomplicated and unicellular.
The planet is composed of water, hydrogen and hydrogen compounds.
Life
Cappu is populated by tiny single-cell life. Their quantities and reproductive rates are high. They usually remain tiny throughout life and have quick maturation rates. Most lineages are branching off in a direction towards further streamlining of internal mechanisms and chemistry, hardiness and efficiency.
