5 Brisgi

Name: Brisgi   Descendent of: Hairgi   Description: The vertically growing spore-bearing cell structures have become bristly or leafy clumps of cellular mass, covered in spores that are dispersed on wind or waves. They increase surface area and sun exposure as well as increasing the range that their spores can be dispersed. The amorphous, vegetative part of the organism that clings to rock and clay muds starts to grow first before the bristly and leafy reproductively active parts do.   They prefer the slightly cooler North because they live at shallow coastal sea depths where they can be caught out in low tide. If it's cooler water doesn't evaporate as quickly and they can stay active for longer before drying out. The bristly texture also helps trap water.   Reproduction: It reproduces by growth and fragmentation (clones) but will also often produce asexual spores.   Food: Photosynthesis   Ocean Locations: 1 (Coast) Land Locations: 1 (Coast)
