Description: So, a Hairgi. Pretty simple, nothing to protect it against parasites. That's what a poor Blugi Blight thought, so it infected the hairgi and... well, I don't think that was a Hairgi.
Well, i'm correct- it wasn't. The Hairungi looks identical to the Hairgi in its basic form, and it normally acts like a hairgi. If a fungus attempts to parasitize it, however, the Hairgi will grow rapidly on the hyphae (takes 3 earth-weeks on average, though it depends on the length of the hyphae used to attack it) and will grow ontop of the closest fruiting body connected to it. Cells growing on the mycellium will produce chemicals that neutralizes the hyphae.
When the fungus it is on produces spores, cells will fragment off of the body and stay on the spore. The fungus will grow with the Hairungi on it already, skipping the step of it moving towards the fruiting body- which is slow and partially damaging towards the algae as the fungus takes some of the nutrients.
