27 Spibub

Name: Spibub   Descendant of: Bubgum   Description: It's vegetative tissue doesn't grow so densely, the cells use extracellular fibres to hold themselves into a three-dimensional net that allows more light to pass into it's inner layers. This net structure is fortified by extra strong vein-like structures with a rubbery elastic texture. It grows into long, sprawling whispy ribbons with gamete-producing tissues at the fine hair-like ends. They form organised multi-chambered gas bladder organs that allows it to form raft colonies on the circling ocean surface current at the North Pole. If one bladder chamber bursts there are many acting as backups. Colony members intertwine their ribbons on a cellular level during long periods of close proximity.   Reproduction: It reproduces by growth and fragmentation (clones) but will ocasionally produce asexual spores from the very outmost edges of their cloudy and ribbony foliage.   Food: Photosynthesis   Ocean Locations: 1 Land Locations: None
