2 Molfuzz

Name: Molfuzz   Descendant of: Cufungus   Description: A simple fungus-like organism that decomposes and drinks up dead unicellular and multicellular algae such as blugi washed up on the coastlines, with a mycellia network, and where exposed to the open water produce fruiting bodies. These fruiting bodies produce a dry, powdery spore that is cast on wind rather than water (though it can still be cast in water, it can no longer be cast on wind once wet). Without a microscope it looks like a blue-green fuzz. Produces it's own antibacterial compounds.   Reproduction: Fruiting bodies cast off spores to the sea or wind. Spores can be sexual or asexual.   Food: Dead algae after initial bacterial softening and release of nutrients   Ocean Locations: 1 (Coast), 2 (Coast) Land Locations: 1 (Coast), 2 (Coast), 3 (Coast)
