Stoic Guard (Division)

The Stoic Guards are the elite soldiers of the Tebtai Army, used as protection for incredibly important people and also as shock troops to deal with high priority targets. They wield a variety of weapons, close and long range, and some may even be trained in spell casting. They are particularly formidable with their swords. The Stoic Guard rely predominantly on their agility, and as such are rarely ever used as front line combatants. If on the rare occasion they are utilised in large battles, they are often deployed riding on the backs of tigers.

Composition

Weaponry

The Stoic Guard wield longswords, typically with both hands, but occasionally with short swords in the off hand. Their technical ability with these blades make them dangerous foes. All Stoic Guard are all trained to use a longbow, and carry one at all times. Some of the Stoic Guard will even receive some training in spellcasting.

Vehicles

It is not uncommon for Stoic Guard to fight riding on the backs of tigers.

Training

The Stoic Guard receive a great deal of training by exceptionally experienced soldiers. Prospective Stoic Guards will be selected from applicants to the Tebtai Army that show aptitude that sets them apart, and will be trained rigorously from this day on.
