Emperor of Etsuman

The Emperor of Etsuman is monarchical title. It is a title that is hereditary, passed down to the Emperor's oldest child (regardless of gender) when the incumbent emperor abdicates or dies. All citizens within the Empire of Etsuman swear fealty to the Emperor.
However, real political power is held by the Grand General. The Grand General technically serves under the Emperor, but thanks to the massive military power wielded by the Grand General, they are virtually unable to be contested by the Emperor.
