Jordunia

A world of organized countries and nations of evil.   Jordunia was once a world of good and positive energy. Most people were generally good, or at the very least willing to help their fellow man. Nations were founded on the virtues of law and order as we know them on earth, where the strong protect the weak and things were done for the good of the people. Races of humans, elves, dwarves and a plethora of others worked together to make the world a safe place to live, and prosper from such. Religions worshiping the divine good founded great citadels and places of worship for any wanting to become enlightened, and more often than not their most devout allied with the warriors of great nations to defend from any and all threats. Whether under the rule of a king, emperor, or court, in all likelihood common life was fair and safe.   Evil resides in any and all worlds, however.   Throughout previously recorded history, there would rise great evils who threatened to tip the balance in the world far towards their own side. As happens in most myth and legend, however, great heroes rose up to the occasion to thwart their plans before they could come to fruition. Dark liches, power hungry tyrants, they all fell. For a time, there was no great world changing evil for the heroes to rise against. This caused the nations, and by extension the people and heroes, to become much less attentive of the forces of the world against them. They had been quiet for centuries, perhaps this is a golden age?   The peace had made them naive, for the forces of evil had been consolidating power to begin a crusade against any monumental good in the world. Through the aid of the legions of Hell and beyond, artifacts with power beyond reckoning, and the lust for domination, a wave of darkness swept over the world. The bastions of good fell, though they fought valiantly, and the crusade for evil was an overwhelming success.   This new world is just getting on its feet, with newly formed nations and borders establishing themselves in the political and economic climate that this carnage has created. History before the crusade is known as the Era of Falsehood, and almost all historical records from this time have been destroyed or modified to suit those in power.   Jordunia exists in the same universe as Golarion, and all content developed for this world has been made using the Pathfinder Game System by Paizo.
