Dastin

The Dastin are the ethnic group that dominate Destiny Island. The group is varied, with many distinct subgroups throughout the island.
The Dastin arrived in Destiny Island over one thousand years ago precipitating the final fall of the Leomite empire. The native of the land were conquered, many being largely subsumed by the Dastin. The remnants of the indigenous cultures are still found in the mountains of the island.
The different tribes of the region were historically disunited and were often at war with one another. They served as mercenary suppliers and on again off again allies with the continental powers. Despite this, the Dastin had also presented a large piracy problem.
