The Castello

Purpose / Function

The Castello serves as the headquarters of The Cavalli, the most famous knights on Jeharr. The Castello is located right next to The Chivalric Monument and serves as the center for chivalric philosophy on Jeharr. Knights from all manner of chivalric orders on Jeharr venture to the Castello to pay homage to the First Sambuco Cavallo, the first Knight, Saint Sanmarino Divederci. As the center for chivalric philosophy on Jeharr and the objective of many an aspiring knight's pilgrimage, the Castello and the Cavalli are the judge of knightliness all across Jeharr. Every organization that purports to be knightly on Tukarsh is subject to the evaluation of the Cavalli's scribes at the Castello who determine whether or not that organization is appropriately chivalric and righteous.

Architecture

The Castello is a large fortification just outside of Tradua. The Castello is an elegant and formidable looking structure, constructed of brandy colored stone.

History

The Castello was built toward the end of Sanmarino Divederci's life as his home and the place that would forever keep and spread the tenants of chivalry, that would later be divinely delivered to Jeharr in the form of the Chivalric Monument. The Castello has served as the home of the Cavalli and as a bastion against savagery ever since its construction.
During the collapse of The Ackramorian Empire, the Castello never came under siege or saw action thanks to the clever dealings of King Alberto Poselli. While it never came under attack during the chaos before and following the Battle of Ackra, it did serve as an important deterrent to the other opportunistic armies of the rebellion that might have otherwise been tempted by Tradua's wealth.
