Saloo

The Covenant Trading outpost Saloo is the largest of two human settlements on the island of _______. Being on the largest island and on the opposing side of the Balloo Rasa. This town remains the most stable trade point in the region. Ships from the east and south stop traditionally stop here or at Arden, Burma or Xardos before continuing to their destination.

Government

The mayor of Saloo Keeps the law loose as possible with the lording Covenant garrison to the north. There are few problems here that the townsfolk can't handle themselves.

Defences

Built atop a high sea wall the town is protected by the garrison of Covenant troops to the north and their own port protection weapons placed atop the sea wall.

Industry & Trade

Saloo is the primary export point for most trade goods coming from settlements throughout the Mora Gesa

Infrastructure

This town offers most services to those who are in need. They include an apothecary, Smith, craftsman services in the Market Bazaar, a school, a large inn and tavern and a single temple of Obad-Hai built on the northern edge of town

loose allegiances to the commonwealth and the Covenant are present in this town but no discord ever erupts from opposing political views.

History

Saloo is an ancient dwarven town that was once abandoned and reclaimed by the Covenant. It now serves as the southern gateway to the rest of Voeld

a granite cliff-face holds this city aloft before the great redwood forests consume the land behind it. it exists as rapture between the forest and the sea.
