Jafed and the Seven Seas

Jafed is a young and affluent merchant that one day finds his mother, Lahila, inhabited by the powerful demon Meshek, and living in a land where those possessed can only be met with death as punishment for what is a clear sign of being sinful, he decides to put all of his hopes and resources into taking her through the Seven Seas to the far and mythical lands of Shanhe, where the extreme help needed for such a extreme problem lies. The world of Jafed is teeming with all sorts of magic, creatures, cultures and objects which unravel to the travelers, that in big numbers either walk or navigate through the commerce routes that connect the immensity of the continent; with nations that go from the smallest polities to the biggest empires, the most known and respected (or feared) being the Nation of Heaven, a theocratic state with the ambition of conquering over half the population to save their souls under its righteous laws, and the mysterious quasi-hermit Axis Cosmos, better known as Shanhe, with its impenetrable walls and fearsome armies that challenge even the demons, claiming to be Abode of the Heavenly Children.
