The Void

The Void is the vast stretch of empty chaos between the worlds. Sometimes if a Gate is destroyed then it will collapse into the Void, taking with it everyone around it. You can’t walk in the Void, instead you float and travel by your own willpower. The exception to this is when a larger object gives you a small amount of gravity. Some waste and debris can often be found floating aimlessly through this endless sea.

Effect

Staying here for just a few hours would drive you insane, and after a day you would be transformed into a Demonic. The only way you can be protected from this transformation is to use an enchanted artifact, or a temporary spell to protect yourself. Some creatures that live in this zone have developed an immunity to this, like Gith.

People

The Gith are pirates who live in this area, using great galleons and ships to traverse the Void. They raid and destroy the people of the worlds for a living.
