Ingrid Weinberg
Princess Ingrid Weinberg (a.k.a. The Gifted)
Ingrid Weinberg is the youngest child of the Emperor of Efinia Friedrich II. Her brothers are the current emperor Wilhelm IV and Prince Lucas. Ingrid is one of the few people in the world who have magical abilities. The same as other mages in the current era, after the gods' departure, she is sterile.
Training
As mages are extremely rare in the current era, Ingrid had to travel far to find a teacher. She found one on the eastern islands, a part of the world inhabited mostly by elves. For an unknown reason, magic has always been more common among elves and it stayed like that even when the gods left. She trained under Arlen Trisnan, one of the best elven mages currently alive.
Service at the Imperial Court
Ingrid began her service as efinian court mage in 1755 AD. She aids her brother Wilhelm in his political and military efforts. She is also the unofficial head of the efinian diplomatic corps.
