Caspar Weinberg is the Crown Prince and heir to the throne of the Efinian Empire. He is the son of Emperor Wilhelm IV and Empress Isolde.

Caspar is concerned about the common people even more than his father. He can often be seen going out of the Imperial Palace in Hertal dressed like a commoner and indulging in the simple pleasures of life. He is known at almost every inn in the capital city. There, he always insists to be called simply Caspar without any etiquette and behaviours expected when meeting someone of his status.

Caspar has many friends all around Hertal. They come from many different social groups, maybe except nobility, Caspar rarely goes to places visited by nobles. He prefers the company of commoners.
Family Ties
Caspar is an only child. Most of his childhood he spent with nannies and servants. From his parents, only his mother had time to spend with him. His father was always busy with the matters of state. Even today, when Caspar is an adult, his father doesn't have time for him.
Religious Views
Although the Efinian Imperial Family is officially atheistic, Caspar is drawn to the Church of Tranquil Return. He sees the amount of violence in the world and believes that people can be better. He would like to go to a service, but knows that if his father knew about he would be angry.
Relationships
History
They met about a year ago when Caspar visited a tavern where Annika spends a lot of her free time. They fell in love almost immediately. From the beginning Annika suspected that Caspar was the Crown Prince, but he was denying it for some time. Recently, Annika made him tell her the truth.
