The Kingdom is organized in 4 duchies and 11 counties.
The King of Laiwen is the Duke of Lai. His title is hereditary.
The Word of the King is the word of the law.
Culture
The people of Laiwen are very familiar with books. There is a high rate of people who can read and write, less than 20% that are illiterates.
Because of that, the Church of the Sigilists is very strong here and is present in every town. Every Count or Duke and even the king are surrounded by at least one sigilist as advisor.
Assets
The Kindgom has a good reputition on wine, so they get some wealth with trade.
The Castles in the Duchy of Dawnmire are strong and well defended.
History
The Kingdom was founded after the Ice freezed the center of Norfel. They declared their independence and declared one of their dukes as King.
Demography and Population
The Kingdom has round about 100.000 people to live here.
They are splittet: Duchy of Lai 35%, Duchy of Dunsale 20%, Duchy of Longdale 25%, Duchy of Dawnmire 20%
Military
The Army of Laiwen counts 3000 men. Most of them are Bowman or Light Footmen. Laiwan only has a small number of riders and Knights.
Every boy has to train 6 Month under weapon, after he turn 15. In case of war the King can rally them to defend the Realm.
Religion
They believe in the God of Men and the rules he gave.
Such as don't Kill without reason. Don't steal and don't bring back to life what is dead for a long time.
On top the Church of the Sigilists is strong and important.
Agriculture & Industry
There is enough grain to feed the people and the lifestock, but not enough to export it.
In Dawnmire they produce a fine met, and export it..
In Longdale is the best wine-growing area and they produce wine, even the Elves of the South pay for.
Education
80% of the residents can read and write.
