Laughing Jinx

The Laughing Jinx is one of the four main organizations that help Alexandrian run the nation of Ithacuras. They are infamously known as the Jailors of Souls. This organization specializes in torture tactics and the dirty work of trafficking; people and illegal contraband alike. Sometimes, when needed, they enact as assassins for other countries, earning themselves some extra coin. Most, if not all of the Laughing Jinx members also have had exposure with stage performance from various professional or amateur entertainment backgrounds. The leader is a woman of the most notorious renown, Duchess Vistrazi Lunarian.

Structure

The organization is structured with one main boss and several loosely equal powered lieutenants with a lot of henchmen.
Lady Vestris is at the top with 3 more smaller organizations under them: The Jaded Serpent, Splicer Gang, and the Henly Crew. All 3 serve as subsidary organizations for the Laughing Jinx, each with their own respective influential power and objective within their territories. Of course, the Laughing Jinx has appointed directives (the leader's of each subsidary organization) within each of them that mandate the whole's objective.

Culture

Their beliefs directly come from their ladies perspective, all is well as long as there's a laugh. Some within the Laughing Jinx take this to an extremity where they go out of their way to find something to make them laugh as hard as they can, thus resulting in insanity. About a third of the organization are considered to be psychopaths or sociopaths, but they are efficient with the things they are tasked to do; human trafficking. No remorse or guilt, just pure pleasure, and business.

Assets

Their territory resides 4 large settlements: The coastal, pleasure filled metropolis of Coveza which so happens to be the nation's capital, Luskav the monopoly fishing town, and the sister cities, Cartada and Cartagena. Their base of operations resides within Coveza as well and is the meeting place for all those affiliated with the Laughing Jinx.

History

The organization was founded by a female High Elf named Vistrazi Lunarian, a.k.a. the Gilded Grin in the year 327 P.A.
It wasn't a planned thing to happen just that the rapidly growing presence of this Lady was quite an attention catcher. Most of the public knew that this woman was a fugitive from the nation of Alpenfrost, an asylum patient. Her crazy demeanor didn't interfere with her knowledge of magic however, and she used it to gain the mass following she has now. She calls it the Laughing Jinx. Ever since the organization grew, she's earned Alexandrian's respect and he's earned her crazed love for him. She now sits atop one of the highest seats of the criminal underworld as one of the heads within Alexandrian's circles.
