Debeva

The town of Debeva is a rather large town, with its main attractions being the center for slave trade between Ithacuras and Scusciel, bustling docks filled with pirates, and an open trade for illegal wares, magical and non-magical. They are located near the eastern border of Ithacuras, next to Scusciel. It is a very popular spot for many to come through to do shady business and for rumors to spread among sailors.   The town itself has several taverns and inns, the most notable ones being the Sleeping Giant Inn and The Grand Line Tavern, a sea-born establishment. The town also offers many brothels, one of them being a FOB for one of the Laughing Jinx's lieutenant, Maximilian Ferdun, a vicious enforcer for the infamous gang.

In Debeva, probably about 300 Havoc troops are here. They enact as the authority and police.

Assets

Jetson Port: This docking bay is owned by Dock Master Gerald Bodian, a hardy man and an experienced sailor. Friends with the Jaded Serpents, Diamond Dogs, and the other big organizations. This port serves as a loading and refilling area for passing ships, pirates and non-pirates alike. It is a safe zone, so any ship that fires first will be shot down immediately. Any stealing of shipments, depending on the merchandise's value, could be death or prison time.   The port has room for different sized ships: 10 spaces (1 space costs 10gp per night) for Schloop sized ships, 7 spaces (1 space costs 15gp per night) for Brigantine sized ships, 4 spaces (1 space costs 25gp per night) for Galleon sized ships, and 2 spaces (1 space costs 40gp per night) for Man-o-War sized ships.   Sea-Shine Inn: Owned by a female, red skinned tiefling, 34 year old, named Zelista Phexibys. She's been running this inn ever since she came into to town at the age of 20. A bright optimistic gal, but with much more generous drop of sarcasm.   She is currently in hiding from the Diamond Dogs as one of their former slaves. She is using a magic disguise to look like a tiefling, but she's actually a female half-elf named Juressa Noriam. If they find her, they will torture her and kill her family. She has committed a large crime for stealing from them: jewels (2500gp worth), food, and an ancient tome with most of its writing being unreadable except for some scratching in the back of it that are in draconic.   Giant's Tap: The headquarters of the Jaded Serpent Gang. Legally owned by the Jaded Serpent, but the barkeep, Dorian Bombogall, a stout and hardy mountain dwarf, has mutual ownership of the tavern. Every weekend, there's an official fight night hosted by the barkeep and even on some occasions, the barkeep even participates. It is a popular event that happens within the coastal town, with a majority of the town looking forward to it and even some famed fighters that travel from across nations that come to fight here.   The Grand Line Tavern: Owned by the famous Triton chef in the known world, Bixbys Venturing Wares: Fuming Cauldron:

Guilds and Factions

The main faction here is Laughing Jinx since Debeva is under its jurisdiction. Velion Havoc also has a presence here as well, but they are under Maximilian's orders as they are here just to keep the order of things, enacting as a police.   Other groups include the Wayfarer's Conglomerate who are there for continuous monitoring of their goods and trade routes, the Jaded Serpent who serve as an underling organization for the Laughing Jinx, and several other small gangs.

History

Debeva was one of the first ever towns to be established, the 4th settlement at that. It's previous purpose was to enact as a diplomatic buffer between Ithacuras and Scusciel. Ever since the last Bellatorum died, the present kings decided to make slave trade legal again and have not stopped business with Debeva since then.

Architecture

The architecture of the buildings are actually fairly built. Stone and wood being the main resources they're built out of. Some buildings, mainly the houses and various estates, are of Scusciel design.

Geography

The town is tightly up against the coast line of Ithacuras hugging The Gleaming Sea. It's also safely placed on the top of the several highlands its surrounded by, being the highest point of the highlands. Most of the roads that also lead into the town are through a valley or small mountain pass.

Natural Resources

Fishing, refined jewelry made from the various resources within The Gleaming Sea, softwood from the tropical trees, etc.
