The Urskan Tundra

Officially named the Urskan Tundra. Located in the country of Urska, this is an area that contains mountains that are known as the highest point of elevation in all of the continent of Qey.
Since the continent of Qey is simply a copy of Earth's Pangea, but without the breaking up the land, this means that there are no tectonic plates, and not tectonic plate movement. As such, these mountains were not formed by landmasses moving, but were actually created in the beginning of time, when Ndeye, the Plurimi of Nature, formed and created these mountains to add to the flat continent, giving it shape and texture.
These mountains, in Earthen terms, are roughly 30,000 feet/9144 meters above sea level at their highest peak. It has been known to reach a point of [-45 degrees F/C]. The peak is especially inhospitable, as are the many other smaller peaks along the line of the mountain range, though the rest of the mountains may be inhabited by a few animals who prefer such temperatures.
The top peak is known commonly as 'The North Wind's Throne'. The only known person to have touched its peak and survived is the North Wind, Zane Ayrie, as being a deity of ice, wind, and cold, he is able to withstand the temperatures. The rest of the mountain range is referred to as 'The North Wind's Crown', or 'The North Star's Home/Land'.
Though there have not been any other recorded individuals who have successfully made the climb to the 'Throne', despite many attempts made by powerful mages, there are rumors that a tribe lives within the lower peaks. Sometimes this tribe is said to consist simply mortals, but most believe them to be immortals, fey, or ghosts. While other gods and some fey (also often confused as ghosts) may occasionally inhabit the tundra, it is impossible for one of flesh and blood to survive here.
Regardless, it is a beautiful landscape of snow and ice, carved cliffs and edges giving a rigid look to the range.
