Temple of Torm

The Temple of Torm is both the name of the physical temple and the religion based around the god Torm. The physical temple is located in The Capital, and one of the largest religious buildings in all of the isles. The current High Priestess of the Temple of Torm is High Priestess Master Catrain Truegust, who is also the current Master of Divination. There have been several High Priestesses/Priests who also held the title Masters of Divination, as the two can go hand in hand. The Temple has served as a major source of divine and holy order to the Isles, often weighing in on different social, economic, and political matters. The Isles of Edren are not a particularly religious, most citizens subscribing to Alatrism, believing the gods are not worthy of worship. Throughout history, this has caused tensions and issues between the two, but in modern times those differnces seem to have quelled.

Structure

The High Priestess of the Temple of Torm is the leader of the Temple, and has a well structured pyramid of priestesses and priests below her.

Public Agenda

To spread and uphold the ideals of duty, loyalty, righteousness, law, and all other teachings of Torm to the citizens of the Isles of Edrens and those beyond.
