Djanri

Djanri is one of the only coastal towns in Felformia. It was actually settled by a cat family that branched from a family in Chiron who migrated after they found a group of herbs that grows only in a very specific condition along the coast. They have spent generations cultivating the herbs so they might grow more robustly and in less severely specific conditions. They were joined some time in by a family of dogs who practiced magic and also had interest in the herbs. The town has grown slowly and is known almost exclusively for producing magic users and scholars.

Demographics

Djanri is almost exclusively populated by cats and dogs. Though a few foxes and other twilight walkers have joined in an effort to cultivate the herbs found there and learn magic.

Government

The cats control law and decision making, but the dogs enforce the laws and are always consulted in matters that might effect the herbs.

Infrastructure

Buildings are a strange mix of sandstone and log structures. Everything was constructed rather hodge-podge as the need arose and it is clear that little, if anything besides growing patches, was planned.

Geography

Djanri lives on the edge of field and sea. It has a sandy plain where the rare herbs grow.

Natural Resources

A small assortment of rare, hard to grow herbs that can only grow in the specific weather conditions provided in Djanri.
