Cats are inquisitive, clever, quick witted, and are the most adaptable, flexible, and the most ambitious people among the common races. They are diverse in their tastes, morals, customs, and habits.

Physical Description:

Cats in Chiron tend to be extremely lean and dark of color. Families of Chiron are among the lightest of all the kingdoms, rarely exceeding 2 feet and almost always less than 8 pounds. Cats in Chiron are almost exclusively dark in color, and commonly striped. Even the black furred cats often have the undersheen of stripes.

Relations:

Cats of Chiron are the most open to the adoption of intrespecies offspring and the practice of keeping them as part of the family even into their adulthood and childrearing such that offspring of other species might be raised with the families kittens. This practice is not well looked upon by their Tracheorn neighbors, but Chiron Cats consider themselves enlightened enough to know how much connections matter.

The most powerful and well known family of cats in Chiron is the Stoneglare clan. It is said that their every matriarch of the Stoneglare clan has a gaze powerful enough to turn anyone to stone.

Cats of Chiron abide by many of the rules of Chiron, their ordered family structure and the structure provided by Chiron lead cats of Chiron tend towards lawfulness.

Adventurers:

Cats are natural born adventurers, particularly in young adulthood. It is common for young, boisterous cats, old enough to hunt on their own, to be sent out into the world to learn a thing or two before returning to the family to take their place. Until they have returned home after this trial, all cats have a Kitten name, they do not gain an adult name until they have taken a place within their family (or a new family).
