Human Declaration of War Upon Bloodkeepers
The bloodkeeper held onto the envelope, their claws easily slicing the flap keeping it closed. "What does it say, Esteemed One?" One with bright purple fur, lighter than the one reading, tried to peek up over their shoulder. The Esteemed One's eyes narrowed, looking down at the black ink. "Something from the human. I don't understand their scrawl, but there are stamps, and signatures. Go send word for someone who can read Common."
Brief
The Bloodkeeper-Human War was a war that happened 200 years before the present time. It caused untold strife between human kind and bloodkeeper kind, and while it wasn't an incredibly long ordeal, it did leave behind its marks. Given to the bloodkeepers as more of a courtesy than anything, was a declaration of war; a small letter detailing the cause and the actions that would be taken by humans against the Leaf Clans of Juptmou.Purpose
The document was drafted by humans to delcare war on bloodkeepers, specifically the Leaf Clan members that were living within Juptmou at the time.
Creation
The spark behind the conflict was the death of a human and bloodkeeper child. Due to conflicting accounts and emotions and trauma bluring the facts, it is hard to tell if a child was killed by bloodkeepers hunting in their territory in an act of cold blood as the humans say. The bloodkeepers state that their child was playing with the humans, and said humans attacked theirs in fear, and the collateral damage caused both casualties.Historical Details
