Ishtar

Welcome to the year 2414 AD (314 AE). After centuries of scientific discovery and thousands of lost pioneers, our new home of Ishtar has started to grow into the mold we set 304 years ago. Ever since our exodus, the survival of Terran humanity had been in question. We had been removed from our ancestral home, banished to the infinite emptiness of the night sky whilst our adversaries delighted in the bountiful spoils of old mother Earth. Some say our rivals were human, colonists of Mars gone mad, but to many they were not men - they were bloodthirsty animals at the heel of a monstrous regime. However, the bygones of the past are belittled by the spark of our future. Ishtar, the golden gem of the skies, a final glimmer of hope, remained a virgin frontier hiding in plain sight among the constellations. The land, the animals, all of it was far beyond what we could have imagined in previous eras, and we were tasked with taming these foreign horizons. Now our cities rise above the plains and rest within artificial caverns, housing the descendants of scientists, engineers and all manner of survivalist - however, this world is not perfect just yet. Petty squabbles over resources and land remain, fought by new, growing nations - threatening to throw humanity into the trials of fire we endured in the 2100s.
