Wirtsmund Settlement in Isenwalt | World Anvil

Wirtsmund

"The hamlet town of Wirtsmund was perfect for fishing, they say, until the waters turned."
The small seaport settlement of Wirtsmund, that incidentally is named after the very island its foundations sit upon is known very much for being nearly deserted and the few who live their only sustaining themselves with use of its abundant fishing grounds. A copious amount of fish seem to swarm to that region and that region alone. It's rumoured history of abnormality keeps the inhabitants extremely tight-lipped and gossip of the town gives word of demons seen darting in and out of tunnels burrowed out within caves and sailors seen giving detours to avoid a reef aptly named Devil's Reef, though some ships seem to have never made it out of the reef.
