Guild of Strength and Virtue

Headquartered in Prizna. This guild likely wields the most soft and hard power of any of the guilds, though not close to the wealthiest. Being, by far, the most powerful mage guild and strong allies of the Crown and the statuesque, the Guild of Strength and Virtue is said to be blessed by the gods. Its affairs are intermingled with the state church, the Church of Life. The guild leaders have established themselves as being fair and restrained in their powers, choosing to work behind the scenes to keep stability in the lands instead of overtly using force. Perhaps the reason power has not seemed to have corrupted the guild leaders as you might expect it to is because the guild leaders are not all human. Several are Elves and half-elves, a few are hobbits, there is one Arch Wizard that is even rumored to be a Gnome, but sensible people don’t believe it. Humans tend not to get very high up in magic before the end of their lives.
