Sanril Helemys, the Unseeing Blade

Sanril is an up and coming Irra knight with big ambitions. She has dreamed since her childhood of standing proud beside heroes such as Sjekyrta Nis as they endeavor to protect Irrum Vath from the beasts that threaten its peace. She fights with a firm head and a firmer blade, making her skill easily visible to those that watch her on the training grounds.
There is, however, a problem.
Sanril is deathly terrified of blood.
While this might normally prevent someone from becoming an Irra Knight whatsoever, Sanril has found a particularly novel solution: She will simply fight with her eyes closed, relying on her senses and skill to win. To this end, she constantly armors herself in full plate helmets with no gaps or weakness. When questioned, she gives the same justification as always.
"Well, the deeper you go in the mountain, the less likely you can rely on light sources, right? I'm simply training for worst-case scenarios such as those as my default so that I won't be caught unawares simply because it's dark."
Despite her seemingly effective plan, she has yet to be allowed out on an expedition with the other Irra Knights. The captains are rather quiet on this front, not stating if it is due to the lack of experience that a young knight as her might have, or if they are simply biased against her style of fighting.
