Remnant Archives

There were once Humans and Dragons living in Irrum Vath. While this might be a commonly known and accepted fact amongst the peoples living in the mountain in the present day, it still manages to come as a surprising occurrence when the remains of once-mighty civilizations are found beneath the rock. There are no true limits to the size and location of these archives of past history. From mining expeditions trapped behind cave-ins, small pockets of air and history held up by steel beams and wooden framing, to the lairs of small dragons that had only just begun their hoards before the The Dragonsong War , to entire towns preserved in time, littered with skeletons and tattered documents of the past.
The Irra often lead the teams aiming to explore the mountain for these ruins, collectively known as the Remnant Archives. A team of Irra Knights, a group of Kobold Miners, and on occasion, a Bajir guide that has a tale or two passed down over the long ages that might provide a direction to follow make up these teams, and they often make rather striking finds!
However, that is not to say that there are yet bigger finds to be discovered in Irrum Vath, and a lone miner might yet place their pickaxe in the right spot, dislodge the right stone, and uncover something far greater: An entire citadel trapped beneath the rock? A thriving, tightly knit community of humans and dragons living in harmony, sealed off from the outside world by thousands of tons of stone? The mysteries of the mountain have far from been fully explored.
