The Siduri
The Siduri is a famous inn in Jera, known for its ability to satisfy any taste and slake any thirst. Found in the midst of Jera's famed Bazaar, its exterior is very restrained, marked with a simple but refined tapestry depicting the character the inn is named for - a legendary figure linked to the goddess Narundi.
Within, it is a different story. The entrance chamber is a match for any queen's boudoir in decor, wherein one can find a pair of concierges who provide guidance to incoming guests as to the various services available in the building. Guests on their first arrival often find the place eerily quiet, as all of the walls and doorways are enchanted with a magical silence to prevent sound from carrying. Food and drink fitting a wide variety of descriptions may be acquired in any of these spaces, though advice from specific experts requires the diner to go to them.
Tavern Experience
The ground floor offers several representations of various types of drinking establishment. One represents a dwarven alehouse, featuring fine stonework decor, traditional dwarven music, and is tended by a dwarf with an encyclopoedic knowledge of ales, meads and lagers. Another features a drow fighting pit, with dim lighting, shadowy corners for conducting private deals, and betting on its (usually) simulated fights to the death. The largest and most popular is decorated to appear like a tasting room in a winery, which is tended by an array of someliers serving exquisite wines from Kinilan and abroad.Private Rooms
The second floor contains an assortment of private rooms for rent, again with a variety of decors and a variety of purposes. Rooms can be rented hourly for diners who wish for privacy, but are primarily intended as sleeping quarters. These rooms are changed constantly, and regular visitors have long since grown accustomed to opening the door to a room they've stayed in before only to find it has changed entirely. Here, one can also enjoy an illusory experience. There is a large catalogue of such experiences available, all of which are memories that have been magically copied from some individual, somewhere in the world (though some are so strange that it seems likely they were sourced from some other realm). Each is an example of a remarkable experience or moment of intense emotion. The catalogue lists these experiences in very brief form, such as "Longing," "Tender Love," "Festering Jealousy," or "Slowly Dawning Horror."Gourmet Restaurant
The third floor contains a high class restaurant that offers a constantly shifting menu of unusual dishes from around the world. Each week, a different foreign chef arrives, bringing with them all the supplies they need to make signature dishes of their homeland. These are matched with a variety of drinks by experts on staff. This is also one may find the proprietor of the Siduri, a slender tall elven woman known only as Mahvash, a world reknowned chef in her own right. She has been regarded as the greatest chef in Kinilani history for well over a century, and has developed an interest in experimenting with unusual foods, such as meat or eggs from a variety of Wildland monsters, and has developed methods for neutralizing a wide variety of toxins found in normally deadly substances like the Autumn Skullcap mushroom and the toxin suffused meat of the Lingorm.Intimate Experiences
Trigger Warning: Contains content of a sexual nature, including fetish and service-for-payment arrangementsThose seeking a more intimate experience must descend into the basement, where they will find a handful of options. There are three showrooms, where performers dance, tease, and otherwise entice customers, and private rooms in the back where one might fulfill the fantasies inspired herein. One showroom contains exclusively male performers, and one exclusively female, for those with more specific tastes, while the third offers a broader variety of genders and body types for those who are open to a broader array of experiences. Additionally, there is a series of public and private rooms available for those with tastes beyond the normal, featuring a variety of professionals who are dominant, submissive, or both, as well as providing an open space for like minded individuals to meet without fear of judgement by more conservative members of society. Alcohol and other intoxicants are not served in this area, and those entering must accept a restorative spell that will flush any such toxins from the system.
