The Dagda
The Good God
Eochaid Ollathair, best known as The Dagda, is a constant presence through the biggest two battles of the Tuatha Dé Danann, he provided invaluable assistance before leading the Tuatha Dé Danann for 80 years.
The Dagda is a large deity, both physically and personality-wise. In addition to an incredible appetite, the Dagda is a gentle giant, known for his generosity. However, don't assume he can't fight. So strong, it was rumored that he could build a house single-handedly in a single night.
He gains his epithet, The Good God, during the second battle of Mag Tuired for his many talents. His other names include Eochaid Ollathair, "Father of Many;" Ruad Rofessa, "Red Man of Knowledge;" and Aedh Alainn, "Fiery Lustrous One."

- The Dagda's club—The Dagda's club was so large that anyone but him would struggle to carry it. Unfeasible to carry unless in battle, the Dagda had a special cart to lug it around with. Personal history
After the Tuatha Dé Danann defeated the Fir Bolg, Bres became the leader on account of Nuada losing an arm. It was the Dagda who built the new king's home. As thanks, Bres enslaved nearly all of the Tuatha Dé Danann. Bres made the Dagda a fulltime builder. The Dagda and his son, Aengus Og, plotted to kill a Fomorian who demanded the Dagda's food each night. This incident ultimately led to the second battle of Mag Tuired.
The night before the battle, he went to his home and made love to The Morrigan, ensuring victory for the Tuatha Dé Danann. Whether he was married to the Morrigan or had any children with her is unknown, but some type of relationship is certain.
After both battles against the Fir Bolg and Fomorians, the Dagda ruled the Tuatha Dé Danann for nearly a century after the death of Lugh.
