Aphrodite
Goddess of Love and Beauty
Born from Zeus and Dione, Aphrodite is a goddess to be wary of, despite being the Greek deity of love and beauty. Easily charming men, mortal and not, she often leaves jealous women in her wake. One will likely find her laughing after conquering a man, but whether it is sweet and melodic or harsh and mocking is anyone's guess.
Despite being soft and physically weak, Aphrodite does have a treacherous and malicious streak to those who wrong her or those she loves. Revenge is not out of the question, and she will receive it while laughing. She has also been known to corrupt innocent Artemis types for fun.
Aphrodite has many lovers and children, but the two most well known would be Eros and Aeneas.

Identifying Characteristics
Gradual, lingering steps, restrained swaying of the hips, and slow inclination of the head she began to advance, her refined movements matching the soft wounds of the flutes. Occasionally her eyes alone would dance, as at one moment she gently lowered her lids, and at another imperiously signalled with threatening glances
Physical quirks
Patient, lingering steps are a given for Aphrodite. With a barely perceptible swaying of the hips and slow tilting of the head, her careful movements give off the impression she is in no hurry.

Apparel & Accessories
One of her favorite robes was the brightness of the sun, a robe of gold, with the most precise of needlework. It shimmered like the moon, sticking perfectly to her shape. The second most well-known robe is one that contrasts with her pale skin. This robe dark blue and smelled of the sea. She often wears twisted brooches and shining flower earrings to compliment the above robes. Lovely jeweled necklaces (often gifts) can be seen around her delicate neck. She can sometimes be seen with a well-wrought crown of gold, usually worn around Mount Olympus. She has a gifted girdle, made by Hephaestus, certainly has magical properties. She also owns a belt that diffuses the scent of cinnamon and balsam. If not in the mood for any of the above scents, Aphrodite has been known to wear garments perfumed in the scents of the narcissus, lily, hyacinth, and many others.

History
At Zeus' behest, Aphrodite is forced to marry Hephaestus, the humorless and gimp god. The god of smithing is more than pleased with being married to the most beautiful goddess, as he would never do as well on his own. Despite his gifts of jewelry and other fine items, Aphrodite chooses to seek other lovers. The two most common being Ares and Adonis, both whom contribute to giving her children. Hephaestus often gets back at her lovers with tricks and traps.
