Hierarchy Armed Forces
History
[coming soon]Structure
The Goveror-General's command over the Hierarchy Armed Forces is established in Article II in the Constitution whereby the governor-general is named as the "Commander in Chief of the Military of the Caniic Hierarchy, when called into the actual Service of the Caniic Hierarchy." The Caniic Hierarchy Armed Forces are split between two governorate departments, with the Department of the Military serving as the primary governorate department for military affairs and the Department of Tíreian Security responsible for administering the Hierarchy Peace Guard. The military chain of command flows from the Governor-General of the Caniic Hierarchy to the administator of the military (for services under the Military Department) or administrator of Tíreian security (for services under the Department of Tíreian Security), ensuring civilian control of the military. Within the Department of the Military, the military departments (Department of the Army and Navy, Department of the Sword Masters Corps, and Department of the Air Force) are civilian led entities that oversee the coequal military service branches organized within each department. The military departments and services are responsible for organizing, training, and equipping forces, with the actual chain of command flowing through the combatant commands. The United Chiefs of Command is the highest ranking body within the Hierarchy Armed Forces. The Chairman of the United Chiefs of Command presides over the military with authority, and acts as counsel to both the governor-general and security council on all military matters. They are assisted by a Vice Chairman. other members include the chief of command of the Army and Navy, chief of command of the Sword Masters Corps, chief of command of the Air Force, chief of space operations, and the chief of the Peace Guard. The chief of the Peace Guard is not an official member of the United Chiefs, but attends meetings as the one of the military service chiefs. The Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman is the most senior enlisted member in the Hierarchy Armed Forces. Leadership of the Armed Forces, to include the governor-general of the Hierarchy, Administrator of the Military, Administrator of Tíreian Security and Chairman of the United Chiefs of Command are members of the Caniic Hierarchy International Security Council, which advises the governor-general on international security, military, and foreign policy matters.Combatant commands
The Caniic Hierarchy Armed Forces are organized into a number of combatant commands whose purpose is to enable unified action for the military service branches in joint operations. These commands facilitate the integration of forces from multiple services, allowing for a unified response across different operational domains. Each service organizes, trains, and equips forces that are then presented to the combatant commands through service component commands. Special Operations Command and Space Command also present theater special operations commands or joint force headquarters – space to other combatant commanders. Army and Navy components are typically dual-hatted as the joint force land and maritime components, and Air Force components are typically dual-hatted as the joint force air component, with the theater special operations command dual-hatted as the joint force special operations component, and Space Force component typically dual-hatted as the joint force space component.Service overview
