[i]The Capital[/i], The Hub Of Interitus

Throughout the world of Interitus there are many nations of power, beacons of rest in an otherwise danger, and horror filled world, but none more so, than that of The Capital. Refereed to only as The Capital, its true name lost to the eons, this nations serves as the pinnacle of mortal civilization. Within the walls of The Capital, which of course stand never less than twenty feet tall at all times, life is grander than ever it was before the birth of Interitus. The people within, those lucky enough, powerful enough, or perhaps only rich enough, to gain entrance, speak highly of the gifts laden unto them, an experience like no other.
Beyond mortal pleasures, though, The Capital offers a reprieve from the nightmares beyond her walls. For the army of The Capital stands strong and ready, guarding the people within from the hellish creatures of the world at hand. No creature, neither big nor small has ever entered into the walls of the The Capital, for it is the only true safe place.
And as for the strange, outlandish shrieking that can be hear during the darkest of days and the foulest of nights? Of the strange trails of blood that end, randomly? And of the feverish chanting, followed by a pleasureful moan unlike anything said by the living?
Just another day in The Capital.

Structure

The Capital is ruled by a prime minister, who little is yet known of. He rules from behind a veil within the highest tower, and no one besides his trusted advisers have ever seen the fellow. Many believe him to be farce ruler, but none have the power to challenge his rule.

To serve as a safety net for the world at hand. A place to escape the dangers and the darkness of Interitus, for the rich and the powerful. A place where innovation will never rest.

An army numbering in the thousands. Trained Battle-Mages. And if the rumors are true, a sand beast that burrows through the earth...

History

Little is known as far as the history of The Capital goes. Some believe it to have already been long-standing upon the birth of Interitus, despite how crazy it sounds.
