The Work Auction

A coming of age tradition formed after slave auctions were introduced as both a teaching tool for young Farmers and a signal of hope for slaves.
These are held at the beginning of each month and involve the cooperation of the businesses in Greene Horne .
Young Farmers and slaves from the nearby camps are sold to the businesses. The Farmers create job_contracts that list what they are willing to do. For the slaves, this is their shot at freedom, a chance to become a normal person.
