Jarl Clementine Sera Delafontaine
Taking her position as The Jarl at the tender age of 15, just a few short weeks before her birthday, Clementine Delafontaine became not only the first female Jarl in the nation's history, but also the second youngest and second ever to be given the title while a predecessor was still alive. Though her father died to give her the title, her grandfather survived for the first two years of her reign, helping to teach and guide her to become the successful Jarl she is today.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Expected to lead the Aegis Sword into battle if The Jarlands ever go to war, Clementine is in great shape. Spending much of her time outside of politics focused on combat and physical training, she would make a forbiddable opponent in any sort of combat. However, she doesn't often show this side of herself to the public, choosing instead to cover herself in the regal clothing expected of her.
Specialized Equipment
Forged for Claus Delafontaine by the original Guildmaster of the Craftsman's Guild, The Jarl is not only handed down their title but an incredible longsword as well. Stunningly crafted out of one of the rarest materials ever discovered, Radiant Truesteel, the blade looks nearly as fantastic as it performs. It is known as the Jarlsblade.

Education
Many brilliant tutors were brought in throughout Clementine's youth, teaching her many of the different schools of thought and other imporant subjects throughout her early years. It was decided when she was just 15 years of age that the following year she would be sent to one of the universities in Erudica to continue her studies. Unfortunately, her father passed just before her 16th birthday, leaving her to lead The Jarlands instead.
Mental Trauma
The death of her father, making her the first female Jarl at such a young age, certainly stands out as the biggest mental trauma the young woman has had to face. Of course, the subsequent death of her grandfather just a couple of years later, leaving her to lead the nation on her own, was not much better.
Morality & Philosophy
It is quite clear to anyone who has spent any amount of time with the Jarl that she is very moral. She believes in the laws that her ancestors put into place and looks to uphold them to the best of her abilities. Unlike the men who preceded her, however, her philosophies circle the idea that in order for The Jarlands to prosper, the city must expand. Shutting people out to live their lives at the Welcomed Wait not only puts those individuals in danger, but it goes against the very freedom that her forefather supposedly believed in.
