Tantum Terrae (tæn-tum tair-ā)

The Tantum Terrae is extremist group that embraces the radical "Only Earth” position that emerged in the early twenty-third century. The Nations of United Earth considers the TT an illegitimate politicast but entertains it as a notable faction due to its size and influence.
Viewed by many to be an illicit terrorist organization, members often engage is acts of violence to achieve the group’s goals. Cheif among these aims is reserving all mined resources and technological developments for the exclusive purpose of ensuring Earth’s future renewal. Moreover, it considers all efforts to explore space and colonize other planets to be hostile and direct violations of its missional directives.

History

The radical Tantum Terrae movement was formed as a response to world leaders' lack of concern over Earth's diminishing environmental conditions. The founders recognized that violence was the only viable and therefore inevitable means of conveying truth to power structures.
