Nephilim

These are the primary residents of Indole, mortal creatures with a shard of divine energy from a god. Different gods bestow different forms of divine energy which can perform different types of magic. For example, a Nephilim with divine energy from Zeus will have control over lightning, wind, and storms. Additionally, they will typically be of noble lineage, due to Zeus' status as one of the god-kings.

Basic Information

Anatomy

As a base, they appear human. However additional limbs, wings, tails, and even talons, can appear based on the Monster soul they possess.

Genetics and Reproduction

Interestingly, the variation of Creature souls has little to do with genetics. While it is more likely that two Nekai will have a Nekai child, that is not necessarily the case. A mixed birth (Ex. A Nekai and a Laikos) can spawn either a Bispirit with the same spirit as the parents or a different one altogether. The Animen have estimated that as much as 40% of the time a new baby is a completely different subspecies.

Except for subspecies variations, they develop normally.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Unless they possess a Monster soul that inherently debilitates their senses, (Ex: a bat soul will blind you/dim your eyesight, but enable echolocation/increase hearing) Bispirits possess slightly greater speed, strength, and durability compared to a human in our world.
