Demographics

Shipwrights, tradesmen, fishermen, mostly of Illarian birth.

Defences

The city and port are protected by a natural inlet, only wide enough for two ships to pass through side by side. They are set far enough inside the bay that no modern war technology is able to reach it. There is also the garrison and small navy.

Industry & Trade

Ship building mostly. The best naval ships in Illary are built here. They are also a major trade hub, a lot of the food that goes to other coastal cities passes through here.

Infrastructure

A beautifully constructed set of docks for the harbor, a safe staircase carved into the cliff-side and a gorgeous city made from the stone that was carved away to construct the stairs as well as brought in from the surrounding area. The buildings are white, light blue and light pink, covered in shells and other such local objects.

Assets

Ships, lots of ships, both for fishing and war. Lots of fish as well.

History

The city was relatively undisturbed though most of its history. Its safe harbor was a welcome sight to many ships. The most major event was the hurricane of 514,017 that almost washed the city into the ocean.

Tourism

For strong swimmers, there are beautiful coral reefs not far from the harbor and the waves make excellent for excellent surfing. Even in the harbor there are beautiful coral, plenty of fish and the occasional shark. Swim with caution. A lot of young children will fish in the harbor, whether with rods, little nets or with a spear is up to them, though a license is required for these activities even if they are young.

Geography

It is set up on the cliff-side, the sheltered port in the harbor below. Beyond the city proper are lush forests to the south and open plains to the north. The rich and quick growing forests allow the shipbuilding community to thrive.
