The Purple Rose of Sakiya
Overview
The Purple Rose of Sakiya is unique, but seems common. Roses grow all over the world of Inanta, and you can find plenty of purple roses. Purple is one of the many colors of rose which include all of the colors of the light spectrum. However, the Purple Rose of Sakiya is unique as it has special magical properties from the way it was grown. When the petals are crushed and added to the right potions, these potions will add in psychic abilities, empowerments and/or enchantments. These potions, also, have a longer shelf life. When the petals are floated on water used in scrying the visions are shown faster and clearer. When the petals are brewed in a tea for divination, the signs make more sense. Though this is not known to most because the only place to get these roses are on Sakiya Island as they are grown by the Acero Dryad. The Cazzuto use the Purple Rose of Sakiya as their symbol when they are away from Sakiya to identify themselves to one another. The Cazzuto are excellent at blending in to society to the point of being unrecognizable to even their kin, so the roses are a way for them to know who they can rely on and relax with, without worrying about if their cover is going to be broken.Manufacturing process
The Acero Dryads grow the roses around the base of their Maple trees. When the roses bloom, they pick the best ones. Then using their unique magic, freeze them at the height of their bloom and turn them into jewelry. They can be added to cloak pins, necklaces, headbands, bracelets. Some Acero Dryads specialize in miniature versions of the roses which can be made into earrings and rings.
