An ancient people plagued by cultural schism and internecine conflict, the Strange Folk of Hereafter dwell in the deep underground of Nod where they reign as the singular, dominant culture of the chthonic commonwealth of cities where their fiefs are protected by wards and artifices of blood magic and constructs of iron and stone. In the contemporary age, the Fair Folk and their cultures only consist of the industrious Unseelie, their spiritual Seelie cousins of the western forests, the unaligned Wildfey, and the widespread throngs of the Sluagh that infest the Far North with the former and the second thriving in the subterranean realm of Hereafter under the cosmopolitan rule of the Grand Hexarchy Eternia and their dynastic Houses under a pact of an inter-cultural armistice. A strange civilization dictated under certain Laws of Being with a history of internecine conflict, the Fair Folk divided into two disparate cultures in the commonwealth of Hereafter between the Unseelie and the Seelie
An ancient people plagued by cultural schism and internecine conflict, the Strange Folk of Mab dwell in the deep underground of Nod as the dominant culture of the cthonic commonwealth of Hereafter under the cosmopolitan rule of the Grand Hexarchy Eternia and the Great Houses. The bizarre Fae are recognized as one of the only surviving species of the First Earth able to endure the cataclysmic landscape of Nod to establish themselves as a functioning civilization with all aspects of industry and economy.
Ruled by the aristocracy and the lesser gentry of the higher levels of Hereafter when concerning the higher echelons of social hierarchy, the Fair Folk are known to dabble in the occult, often in the esoteric practices of blood magic as a necessity when evading the far-reaching sight of the Erlking and the ravaging hordes of the necromantic Sluagh.
An ancient, strange people born from the lost forests of Godswood and the cthonic colonizers of the underground realms of Nod, where they reign as the singular dominant culture of the subterranean commonwealth of Hereafter.
