Qualifications

A sagittarius must have perfect eyesight and be at least 5'8". This is due to the sagitarrius aircraft's dimensions; anyone under 5'8" cannot operate all required pieces of the aircraft at the needed speed.

Purpose

Fighter pilots who operate both in space and within a planet's atmosphere.

Social Status

A sagittarius with honorable service may qualify fo Equestrian rank.

A sagittarius is assigned an aircraft in training, and they maintain this aircraft until their retirement.

Workplace

Sagittarii are not assigned to any cohort, but instead make up a Legion's Ala Milliariae.

Provided Services

Aerial support of ground troops; engagement with other aerial combatants.

Dangers & Hazards

Sagittarii are at risk for crashing their aircraft, which they are unlikely to abandon or bail out of. They are also more exposed to solar radiation and harmful G-forces than other members of the Fleet.
