Qualifications
A munifex must be in good standing and have a recommendation from their centurion in order to attend training. Completion of rigorous training must be accomplished.
Career Progression
Many in this immunes class continue on to become nurses or physicians after their ten-year enlistment is over.
Perception
Purpose
Combat medics who work independently of nurses and doctors on battlefields or at distant outposts.
Social Status
A medicus with honorable service may qualify fo Equestrian rank.

Tools
A medicus is trained in life-saving medical interventions, including hemostasis, chest decompression, a variety of artificial airways, and burr holes.
Workplace
There is at least one medicus assigned to each centuria. In certain combat units, there may be up to five.
Provided Services
Medical care of legionnaires and other Fleetmen.
Dangers & Hazards
A medicus may be targeted in battle to prevent them from helping other soldiers. They are exposed to many of the same hazards as other combat positions, as well as exposure to infectious disease.
