Vegr is the coming of Age ceremony on the isle of Cypreena.   During the ceremony Young men and women make the journey to the frozen falls atop the Aratos Mountain. They must make the journey on their own. Returning before the sun sets on the 7th day.

History

According to legend a weary traveler found herself atop the mountain and collapsed, through the frozen falls Meliel a merged. She spoke to the traveler and told her to submerge herself in the icy waters for they had healing properties, that she would be born anew. Doing as she was told without hesitation she felt the brisk chill of the water. The deeper she went the warmer the water felt. drifting into a blissful slumber she felt herself pulled from the water. When she awoke Meliel was nowhere to be seen. Feeling rested she descended down the hill, finally settling at the base of the mountain and eventually creating the Settlement Cypreena.   It is said the Traveler, eventually known as Phoenix, was gifted the sprite of Meliel. she could heal the sick and weary. Some say she could move water and ice, and even transform.   Throughout history it is believed that if you submerge yourself in these waters and Meliel deems you worthy that you'll possess the same powers.
