Rangers of The Empire

The Rangers of the Empire were a militia group established shortly after the formation of the Empire to make use of women and those deemed unfit for military service to still assist in the battle against the forces of Irhancar. 

In the early days of the Empire it was considered a great honor to become a ranger. After the defeat of Irahncar the rangers were tasked with guarding  the Roinian wall that had been built to keep the monstrosities born of the Rending out of the Empire. 


As the centuries passed the need for Rangers diminished more and more and soon the Rangers became defunct.  The title of Ranger is still recognized by the Empire, and Rangers still uphold the duty of guarding the Roinian wall, but the need for guards on the wall has been so low for so long most peoples in the Empire don't even remember what the Rangers were doing in the first place, and the public regard for the Rangers has dropped to nearly non-existent.
