Lizardmen
The Lizard men are large humanoids resembling something between an iguana, an alligator, and a man. Though native to the wetlands of Sulamad their hearty biology has allowed them to thrive in many warm or wet location in Imarith.
Though not evil, the Lizardmen do not comprehend emotions as other humanoids instead they have special pheromone receptors that are used to communicate emotion, and tend to come off as cold and violent.
Very territorial they have no issue attacking when provoked into protecting what they see as theirs.
They also have no interest in the politics of men, instead following a single High Priest who speaks for their god Suchotaok and appeasing him with blood sacrifice. Seen as barbaric to most of the peoples of the Empire, in Lizard men culture being selected as a sacrifice for Suchotaok is often seen as a great honor, landing them a permanent spot in "Fuhutajo" the final destination for all worthy Lizard men.
