There are many gods in the universe that holds Terria and Ianna. The following pages describe the gods, demigods, primordials and spirits known to the inhabitants or the twin worlds.
The Terrians divide their gods into two groups. The Gods of Old - consisting of Demari, Gabal, Leticia, Magdu, Neefa, Srytri and Xeal - have been around since the forging of the worlds, whereas the Gods of the Veil - Bayrion, Crimrogan, Enialis, Ionia, Mardimor, Tarok and Tidsoro - appeared after the shattering of the veil between the worlds.
Some also chose to worship demigods instead of the greater gods. Demigods usually start out as mortals that are chosen to become a god's avatar. Some manage to gather enough power and followers to sustain their own powers, becoming far less dependent on the gods that choose them. While demigods are not nearly as powerful as the gods themselves, they have enough power to grant spells to clerics and other worshippers.
Spirits, or 'Kindred Spirits' as they are often called on Ianna, are closely related to the primordials. They often inhabit specific locations within the physical world, such as streams, trees or mountains. Although they hold less power than the primordials, they are often more interested in the affairs of mortal beings, which compels many witches and shamans to seek out a kindred spirit as their patron.
