Mardimor

God of the Forge, Lord Protector, Patron of Healers

Mardimor is strict but just. He is worshipped primarily by dwarves, smiths and healers.  Clerics of Mardimor are immensely popular on Terria as they are some of the best healers and usually ask little compensation for their services. Followers of Mardimor believe that each should only pay what they are able: a nobleman who gets healed would therefore pay more than a commoner.
Many dwarven worshippers of Mardimor hold to the dwarven tradition of forging all of their own weapons and tools and several followers of other races have adopted this custom.
Mardimor is depicted as a dwarf in a white robe, holding a finely crafted warhammer.

Mardimor's teachings are as follows:
  • Heal the sick and protect the weak.
  • Fight the spread of disease and the corruption of body and mind.
  • Honor tradition, whatever form it may take.
